A
family strives for survival in a country, America, invaded by strangers who
find out how similar human beings and dogs are.
Dogs Days is the adaptation of a
short story from the New York Times Notable Book Flying Leap by Judy Budnitz.
Ellie
Lee was born in Hong Kong in 1970 and raised in Boston. Her previous film, the
animated documentary Repetition
Compulsion, was premiered at the Berlin Festival in 1998, has been
presented in more than 60 festivals all over the world and nominated for the
National Emmy Awards in 1998. Dog Days is her first fiction film.
