CinemAmbiente joins the World Water Day, next march 22nd organizing screenings of the film One Water, winner of the Golder Associates Special Award 2008. The international observance of World Water Day is an initiative that grew out of the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED).  UN-Water has chosen ''Clean Water for a Healthy World" as theme for World Water Day 2010. The Marcarolo Film Festival,  organizes  next  June 5th-6th  and September 4th-5th, 2010 the 3rd “Sotto il castagno di Marcarolo”  a writing  and a  filmmaking workshop for the development of “eco-sustainable”  documentaries: “Stories and images of men and territories”, a residential laboratory on environmental cinema .  CINEMAMBIENTE IN JUNE – NEW DATES FOR THE FESTIVAL, The 13th CinemAmbiente – Environmental Film Festival will take place next june 1st-6th, contemporaneously with the World Environment Day. After 12 years, CinemAmbiente, the first and most important international event on cinema and environment taking place in Italy, changes its dates from autumn to springtime,  joining an important international event created to encourage worldwide awareness of the environment and sustainability.
