CinemAmbiente Tour project starts again with new films from 13th CinemAmbiente Film Festival. From north to south of Italy, CinemAmbiente festival films reach thousands of new audiences with the touring program. Hundreds of screening are organised every year within this project in order to continue to promote environmental films after festival event. Tour catalogue has now more than 100 films...

June 5th - World Environment Day - 20.05.2010

 
The World Environment Day, organized by the United Nations Environment Programme, is celebrated every year on June 5th. During the World Environment Day everybody is asked to go green and behave in order to safeguard and protect the environment for the next generations. CinemAmbiente is organizing, in cooperation with local associations, a rash of screenings in 14 Italian towns. Dicover here all the details.

Waiting for CinmAmbiente 2010 - 12.05.2010


The 13th CinemAmbiente – Environmental Film Festival will take place next June 1st-6th, contemporaneously with the World Environment Day (UN). After 12 years, CinemAmbiente changes its dates from autumn to springtime,  joining an important international event (held on June the 5th) created to encourage worldwide awareness of the environment and sustainability.

Cinemambiente for the World Water Day - 10.03.2010

 
CinemAmbiente joins the World Water Day, next march 22nd organizing screenings of the film One Water, winner of the Golder Associates Special Award 2008. The international observance of World Water Day is an initiative that grew out of the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED).  UN-Water has chosen ''Clean Water for a Healthy World" as theme for World Water Day 2010. The overall goal of the World Water Day on 22 March 2010 campaign is to raise the profile of water quality at the political level so that water quality considerations are made alongside those of water quantity. Radio2 and CinemAmbiente with carbon free screenings - 10.02.2010

 
CinemAmbiente joins  Radio2’s “M’Illumino di Meno” event, with the first ‘carbon free’ screening at the Environment Park in  Torino: next february 12th ‘Recipes for disaster’, by J. Webster will be screened at 9.00 pm
Moreover, next february 12th, CinemAmbiente offers the possibility to Associations, Agencies or Municipalities from all over Italy to  organize a screening of the film, joining the CinemAmbiente Tour Project.

CinemAmbiente and Regional Museum of Natural Science  presents “vedere per sapere, il cinema racconta l’ambiente, la natura, la scienza” –“ See to Know, The Cinema describes the environment, the nature and science”.
A series of documentaries and movies for the schools  introduced by scientists, environmental experts and cinema’s professionals.
 
 

The European Week for Waste Reduction - 16.11.2009

 
CinemAmbiente – Environmental Film Festival with the support of the Province of Turin,, in cooperation with Legambiente Piemonte and Valle d'Aosta, joins the European Waste Reduction Week’’s activities by organizing free environmental film’s screenings. Check the program.

HOME - Italian Premiere by CinemAmbiente - 15.05.2009

 
CinemAmbiente Environmental Film Festival presents the italian premiere of 'HOME' (by Yann Arthus-Bertrand), on June 5th in Torino, at Cinema Massimo (sala 1), 21pm , on occasion of the World Environmental Day. More than a movie, HOME will be a major event all over the globe: for this first time ever, a film will be released on the same day in over 50 countries. Free Entry

Winner of the Politecnico competition - 15.07.2008

 
Cinemambiente asked to the Politecnico's 'Progetto Grafico e Virtuale' students to create a graphic project in an original style which could communicate the two fundamental values of the Festival: movie and environment.

EXTENSION FILM SUBMISSION - 02.07.2008

The 11th edition of Cinemambiente – Environmental Film Festival will take place in Turin from the 16th to 21th October 2008.
The Festival’s competitions include film inspired to environmental issues produced after 1st january 2006. The deadline for all applications is postponed to 15th JULY 2008. There is no entry fee.
