The earth quakes, ashes fall from the sky, and there’s this fire that the firefighters can’t extinguish.

The villagers take refuge in the forest. Surrounded by wild beasts, a new life begins for them.

Il regista / The Director

Léo Favier graduated from the École supérieure des arts décoratifs, Strasbourg, then moved to Berlin where he works as author, designer, and filmmaker. His first documentary Kinoki, produced by Les Films Sauvages and broadcast on Canal+, was awarded the Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée (CNC) quality award for short films in 2013.
