This video is a trip to Port de Paix (Haity), where most children have neither toys nor videogames. The cleverness and manual ability of timoun yo (children) create little masterpieces made even with waste material picked up in the streets or in the garbage bin. This is what they play with in their short time off work.
Alessandro
Corallo has been working for Mediaset since 1992. He has been going to Haiti
since 1991 to take care of street children. He runs micro-projects such as distance
adoption, grants or assuring at least a meal a day to all of them. In 1997 he
directed the short film Timoun
Ayiti.
