Attraverso le Alpi

Across the Alps

Who owns the Alps? And who or what regulates life? Every day tons of cargo are transported by road and rail through tunnels and over passes, impacting on the lives of the local citizens, the environment, and the economy of Italy, France, Austria, Switzerland, Germany and Slovenia. A discussion based on the observations of the daily work of those involved in this uninterrupted flow of traffic – railroad operators, truck drivers, automobile drivers, environmental tourists or other travellers - can be started on the role of transport companies in the management of alpine traffic and in the interest of preserving the beauty of one of the world’s most important mountain chains.

In cordata selection

A meeting with the directors, Federica Corrado (CIPRA Italia and Politecnico di Torino), Francesco Balocco (Piedmont Transport Commissioner), and Marco Terranova (SBB Cargo Italia) will be held after the showing.
