The Silver Mirror

Lo specchio d’argento

By 2050, the world’s elderly population will have reached the 1.5 billion mark, three times the number of today’s seniors. In the United States alone, 10,000 Americans turn age 65 every day. In preparation for this burgeoning emergency, interventions to adequately deal with philosophical, social, medical and political issues are increasingly needed. Based on 3 years of research and filming in 12 countries, Ali Habashi’s account depicts how the problem of the aging population is being faced in various cultural contexts.
