Il giorno che verrà

The Day That Will Come

Brindisi, today. Daniela is pregnant, Pierpaolo is finishing an unusual city map, Paola is waiting to record her first record, and Gianni is a blogger and metalworker. Four lives and four persons, all belonging to the No al Carbone (No Coal) citizens’ coalition, who relate what it’s like to live in one of Europe’s most polluted industrial zones. An environmental emergency disregarded by the national government which has done nothing about the devastating environmental impact on the health of the local population – for example, the incidence of neonatal cardiac malformations 70% higher than the mean rate for Europe.
