CinemAmbiente at Vico Canavese

During the whole month of august CinemAmbiente in cooperation with the library of Vico Canavese organizes the film exhibition "CinemAmbiente in Valchiusella". The films will be screened at the Salone Pluriuso (Regione Lime) - free entry. All the events will be introduced by Gaetano Capizzi and Debora Bocchiardo.

Pianeta di plastica

Few materials have so thoroughly marked the character of the late 20th century as has plastic, which has invaded every nook and cranny of daily life. Plastic’s environmental footprint is as large as it is pernicious, with potential health risks for humans and animals alike. Werner Boote guides on an exploration of the world of plastic, from its invention as a means to make life easier, cheaper and healthier, to the numerous problems and associated risks, such as the toxic additives used for making it and its long life cycle.

Il regista / The Director

Werner Boote studied theater, communications, and sociology at the University of Vienna, and worked as assistant director before becoming full director in 1993. He has made numerous video clips and documentaries on topics from music and the arts.
