CinemAmbiente in cooperation with Circoscrizione VI - Torino, organizes the film exhibition 'Ecokids 2011', screenings for the primary schools of the city. All the events will be introducedby an environmental expert.
For the last 6 years, photographer Murray Fredericks has set up camp for 5 weeks alone at Eyre Lake. Located about 700 km north of Adelaide in southern Australia’s remote outback and 15 m below sea level, the lake’s drainage basin covers an area equal to that of Italy, France, and Germany combined, most of it bone dry. It is an immense salt mine. But it is also a place of spectacular uniqueness. A true landscape for the soul where Fredericks immerses himself, surrounded by vast emptiness, drawing inspiration for his photography.
Michael Angus made his directorial debut with the documentary The Fight Game, a portrait of boxer Danny Green, followed by Ooldea, on the life of composer Ian Grandage.
Murray Fredericks is a photographer who has been on assignment to Himalaya, Patagonia and Tasmania.
