CinemAmbiente at Vico Canavese

During the whole month of august CinemAmbiente in cooperation with the library of Vico Canavese organizes the film exhibition "CinemAmbiente in Valchiusella". The films will be screened at the Salone Pluriuso (Regione Lime) - free entry. All the events will be introduced by Gaetano Capizzi and Debora Bocchiardo.

An unexpected climate change hits the city of Recife in northeastern Brazil, transforming it into a cold, damp place. Accustomed to a tropical climate, with warm temperatures year round and a mean temperature never below 20°C, Recife’s residents suddenly have to get used to bundling up. With a Tv troop as our guide in this semi-serious mockumentary with a touch of black humor, we discover the effects this radical change has brought to the community and the real implications such events may well have.

Il regista / The Director

Kleber Mendonça Filho earned a degree in journalism and worked as film critic. Since 1997 he has filmed numerous shorts shown at international festivals, including Karlovy-Vary, Rotterdam, Clermont-Ferrand and Cannes.
