CinemAmbiente at Vico Canavese

During the whole month of august CinemAmbiente in cooperation with the library of Vico Canavese organizes the film exhibition "CinemAmbiente in Valchiusella". The films will be screened at the Salone Pluriuso (Regione Lime) - free entry. All the events will be introduced by Gaetano Capizzi and Debora Bocchiardo.

How to Destroy the World

Come distruggere il mondo

An entertaining cartoon series broadcast on the Discovery Channel, How to Destroy the World spoofs conventional science programs with clever use of illustrious presenters describing how man has managed to destroy the world. In the four episodes, each on a different topic (Garbage, Transport, Food, Videogames), contemporary society's habits are lampooned with a surreal humor reminiscent of Monty Python and through simple, ironic gags.

Il regista / The Director

Pete Bishop has directed commercials for Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Citibank and Duracell. His productions for MTV America and various European and Asian networks have earned him numerous awards. He has directed the cartoon series "Captain Star", "Spheriks" and "Bromwell High", and worked as illustrator and comic strip artist, producing The Wizard of Oz and comic strips that have appeared in "The Guardian" in the U.K. and the "FAZ" in Germany.
