The year 2815. Mankind has been living on the spaceship Axiom for centuries after having abandoned Earth because it's full of trash. Cleaning up the mess left behind is WALL-E, a garbage-collecting robot. Alone on Earth, WALL-E is mesmerized by the trinkets of human history and begins to dream of love. Love suddenly manifests in the form of Eve, a sleek reconnaissance robot sent to Earth to find out if life is once again sustainable. WALL-E shows Eve a plant, the only living thing he has found among the rubble. One day a space ship comes to reclaim Eve and take her back to the Axiom. Out of love or loneliness, WALL-E hitches a ride on the outside of the ship to rescue Eve. And here begins WALL-E's misadventures. An environmental tale that engages interest in the plight of the main character and offers spectacular special effects.
