During the whole month of august CinemAmbiente in cooperation with the library of Vico Canavese organizes the film exhibition "CinemAmbiente in Valchiusella". The films will be screened at the Salone Pluriuso (Regione Lime) - free entry. All the events will be introduced by Gaetano Capizzi and Debora Bocchiardo.

Well, thanks to friendly Mr. Atom, the main character in this cartoon, you'll see why of all forms of energy atomic is the safest, cheapest, cleanest and most reliable—in other words, the best. But how sure are we about that? This take-off on U.S post-WWII educational films, updated with 2D computer animation, raises serious questions about one of the most controversial issues in environmentalist circles, while poking fun at the factious way it is handled by the mass media and the institutions.

Il regista / The Director

Jon Frickey (b. Germany) earned a degree in Communications Design from the University of Applied Sciences, Hamburg, in 2006, before working at the communications agency, Scholz & Friends, Berlin. With Till Penzek, he founded SFA, an animation and multimedia production studio in August 2006. Since 2002 he and Penzek have co-directed many films.

Till Penzek (b. Germany, 1976) studied fine arts at the University of Hamburg and earned a degree in Communications Design in 2006. With Jon Frickey, he founded SFA, an animation and multimedia production studio in August 2006. Since 2002 he and Frickey have co-directed many films.
