Il regista / The Director

Virgilio Tosi made his directorial debut with documentary films, later specializing in scientific documentaries, becoming a prominent filmmaker in this area. Besides film direction, he developed an interest in the early techniques of filmmaking, wrote TV screenplays, and taught history and criticism of documentary film.
