The take-home message is that we've come to a fork in the road: taking one route we continue in our old and wrongful habits, taking the other we can start on a new relationship with nature, deciding not to pollute and destroy our surroundings. Which way shall we go? Guiding us are the children from the "Il cucciolo" elementary school, Turin, under the supervision of the master of animation in Italy, Vincenzo Gioanola. What we need is a healthy urge to put "good practices" into action, from differentiated garbage collection, to water and energy-saving habits, along with a wholesome diet and regular exercise, as a way to leave the bad habits behind us.

Vincenzo Gioanola (b. Casale Monferrato) graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, Turin. In 1981 he made Boogie, his first animation film. He holds educator update courses and workshops in Italy, and works as an illustrator and graphic artist. Film directions to his credit include Garibaldi Blues (1982), Russian Roulette (1985), Nove secondi e mezzo (1987), Dobrodolska Hora (1989), Fight Da Faida (1993), which have earned him numerous international festival awards. He is co-founder of La Lanterna Magica production company; since 2001 he has taught at the National School of Cinema, Chieri.
