CinemAmbiente at Vico Canavese

During the whole month of august CinemAmbiente in cooperation with the library of Vico Canavese organizes the film exhibition "CinemAmbiente in Valchiusella". The films will be screened at the Salone Pluriuso (Regione Lime) - free entry. All the events will be introduced by Gaetano Capizzi and Debora Bocchiardo.

Garbage Angels
Gli angeli della spazzatura

Who said there's no life in a dumping site? In this digital short animation, the garbage suddenly comes to life in a series of comic situations, proving that what we throw away may still be useful. For his backdrops Trudeau recycles objects he finds in garbage cans or on the street, immortalizing them in the first cartoon featuring garbage as the main actors.

Il regista / The Director

Pierre M. Trudeau studied animation filmmaking at Concordia University, Montreal, before founding his indie production company Cine-Clic, specialized in social advertising campaigns. Short animation films to his credit include: Last Call Blues (1985), Buston Keater (1986), which won the Cinéaste recherché(e) Competition, Kid Stuff (1990), on domestic violence, 1,2,3, Coco (1991), Baroque'n Roll (1994), Cuckoo! Mr. Edgar (1999), Operation Cuckoo (2002), Ruzz & Ben (2004), Tripes (2006), Entrailles (2007) and Viscères (2008).
