The world represented by a ball that rolls through the streets, is passed from hand to hand, bounces on the sidewalk, dodging the hazards of human presence. Abandoned, the ball/Earth has no one to count on but a little boy, the only one who can take care of it. A poetic short film shot in music video style.
Geir Henning Hopland (b. 1970) studied cinema and television at the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, where over the past 10 years he has made numerous shorts, music videos and documentaries and worked on the TV series Alt for Norge (2005), House of Singles (2005) and Echo of Ibsen, as well as directed the TV film Nora (2006). His short films Decay (2002), Shortage of Space (2003) and Sometimes It Hurts (2006) have earned him international awards.
«I wanted to make a small film, but with an important theme. I wanted to make a film that both children and grown-ups could relate to».
