CinemAmbiente at Vico Canavese

During the whole month of august CinemAmbiente in cooperation with the library of Vico Canavese organizes the film exhibition "CinemAmbiente in Valchiusella". The films will be screened at the Salone Pluriuso (Regione Lime) - free entry. All the events will be introduced by Gaetano Capizzi and Debora Bocchiardo.

The Naturalist

A country outing, walking barefoot across a meadow, playing blissfully on a flute: nothing could be better for the Naturalist who thinks this the most relaxing way to get back to nature… But his every step, his every move could have
disastrous consequences for the fragile ecosystem, as demonstrated by this entertaining, ironic short that combines a variety of animation techniques perfectly.

Il regista / The Director

Giulia Barbera (b. 1979, Palermo), Gianluca Lo Presti (b. 1985, Milan), Federico Parodi (b. 1984, Turin), Michele Tozzi (b. 1978, Turin) all graduated from the Department of Animation, Experimental Center for Cinematography, National School of Filmmaking, Piemonte, in 2007.

"Our graduation film was made using various techniques: classic 2D animation, compositing, real footage, puppets and sets, stop motion, but special thanks go to the hot casting!”
