CinemAmbiente at Vico Canavese

During the whole month of august CinemAmbiente in cooperation with the library of Vico Canavese organizes the film exhibition "CinemAmbiente in Valchiusella". The films will be screened at the Salone Pluriuso (Regione Lime) - free entry. All the events will be introduced by Gaetano Capizzi and Debora Bocchiardo.

Il Mediterraneo è finito

Eleven animated video spots that reveal the Mediterranean’s alarming state of health. Using animation (Tamer Karakulak) and graphic design (Gokhan Eryaman), the spots create formal and esthetic associations between the fish and the various things people have dumped into the sea, resulting in a thought-provoking series of fascinating yet disturbing portraits of mutant fish.

Il regista / The Director

Ethem Ozguven was born in Turkey where he lives and works. His video spots, documentaries and films have been presented in over 40 countries. Since 2006, his work focuses on films with social content. Since 1992 he has taught documentary and audiovisual production at Bilgi University, Istanbul.
