An accident at a nuclear plant south of Frankfurt rocks the country: the radiation instantly kills 38,000 people and a huge radioactive cloud heads toward the small town of Schlitz. Among the survivors trying to escape Schlitz before the cloud hits it are 16-year-old Hanna and her boyfriend Elmar. While Elmar tries to escape Schlitz, Hannah is contaminated by the radiation, sealing her fate. But the love between the two, despite the desperate situation, is stronger than reason and so reunites them. Without expecting to survive much longer, the two fight together, convinced that even a short, intense life full of love is worth living for.
Gregor Schnitzler (Berlin 1964), while still a student of communication design, began working as a stage photographer. (2001) and Soloalbum (2003).
