In 1976 a serious explosion at the Icmesa plant, Seveso, a factory belonging to the chemicals giant Hoffmann-La Roche. Jörg Sambeth, then technical director at Hoffman-La Roche, was accused, tried as one of the persons chiefly responsible for the accident, and sentenced to 5 years in prison. However, Sambeth, denied being the only one responsible. Investigating the causes and circumstances of the accident, he discovered several facts that raise concern about the real responsibility of the Swiss multinational.

Sabine Gisiger (Zurich 1959) since 1989 she has worked as a journalist for the Swiss TV network. Her works include: Motor Nasch (1995), Leben im Hip Hop (1996), Do It (2001) and Homeland (2003).
