Biodiversity in Paradise

Gran Paradiso National Park’s visitors and documentarists often neglect less known species of plants and animals in favour of more notable and glamorous ones. This work offers a different view of the Park’s population, showing less known species, thus stressing the importance of biodiversity – not only from a naturalsitic point of view – but for the very surviving of human beings.

Il regista / The Director

Gianni Valente (Torino, 1957) is in charge of Arnica Coop’s film sector. He specialises in environment documentaries, especially those regarding fauna, he also works for public corporations and televisions. His works have been presented at several nature festivals.
