Il gigante da salvare

Saving the Giant

The documentary describes the generous attempt of giving back its dignity to one of the most extensive massifs in Europe. Over the last two years by the Keep Monterosa Clean project, a bunch of alpine guides and volunteers, led by Michele Cucchi, have been exerting themselves to save the giant, freeing it from 200 quintals of all sorts of pieces of wreckage and rubbish. The hard labour of a group of cherishing dare-devils inspired by a great passion for the mountains, will venture on an historical and captivating exploit with the promise of giving back Monterosa its primal beauty.
