Stong documentary about the tropical forests felling in Costarica, trasformed in pasture for the breeding intented to become raw material for the US fast food. A local activist informs that every kilo of meat transformed in hamburger means the distruction of 2,5 tons of fertile ground, for a total lost of 680 millions of ground each year. The delarations of McDonald‘s vice-president, who says that they only import meat from USA are immediatly denied by exporters ones. The words descriving the disaster and the images showing it sometimes become poetics: trees and animals condammned to the same destiny, logs desolated expanses and carcasses of animals, camps where people, thrown from their lost lands, is forced to live and work as under-payed workers or as out of work persons.
