In the present circumstances, is it safe to eat beef? In clear and simply demonstrations, the film exposes the ruses and fraud which plague the European beef industry, today fallen into a hopelessly embroiled situation. This documentary take an in-depth look at the beef industry in France, Great Britain and Belgium, trying to ascertain who is really responsible for food safety in present-day Europe.

Frédéric Brunnquell, journalist, writer and documentary director. Author of several historical, political and social books, has realised some video reportages for Canal + (South Africa, Kosovo, Albania, Gabon), France 2 (Tortionnaire, awarded at Banff Festival), France 3 (About Lebanon) and La Cinq.
