A look into Belgrade, where gypsies make a living out of transforming Citroén classic mobile 2CVs in futuristic Mad Max style vehicles. Beyond their use, the transfigured cars represent freedom, hope and ultimately the people’s style who invest their energies and passion to save what others have dumped. Another example of how things are recycled are exhausted batteries reused as power generators for lighting and watching the telly. Unfortunately the police don’t find those vehicles that fun...
Boris Mitic was born in 1977 in southern Serbia. Self-taught, quits journalism and turns to documentary film making. Pretty Dyana is his first film.
