Educated at the bording schoolinVoldaanduniversitiesinBergenandOslo.Madeherdebutasdocumentary filmmaker with her gratuation film I kjærleikens hus in 1995. In 1998 she had her first feature length documentary Dei mjuke hendenescreened at theaters, and received various awards.Olin’s first fiction film was Fråtseri which was one of seven films in the shortfilm series De 7 Dødssynder (2000).
