Since she was thirteen, Ellen Eastwood has been interested in photography, but, after a degree in Theatre Arts from the San Francisco State University, her works turned mostly to the theatre. She has produced, directed, and played various theatre productions as independent and together with the Los Angeles Women’s Shakespeare Company. She studied with Byrne Piven (dead in 2002), teacher of famous actors like John Cusack, Lily Tayloe and Tim Robbins. The 26th is her first produced and directed short.
