CINEMAMBIENTE IN JUNE – NEW DATES FOR THE FESTIVAL

The 13th CinemAmbiente – Environmental Film Festival will take place next june 1st-6th, contemporaneously with the World Environment Day.
 
After 12 years, CinemAmbiente, the first and most important international event on cinema and environment taking place in Italy, changes its dates from autumn to springtime,  joining an important international event created to encourage worldwide awareness of the environment and sustainability.
June 5th World Environment Day is promoted by UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme);  CinemAmbiente, in order to celebrate this recourrence has been organizing important events every year. In 2009 the film Home produced by Luc Besson, released simultaneously over the fifth continents and on all media,  was presented in Torino as italian premiere .
In  conveying the whole Festival in the month of june, CinemAmbiente aims to be further strenghtened on the national and international level.
 
The Festival will be held next june 1st-6th, 2010.
 
The submissions for CinemAmbiente 2010 are now open. The Competitive Sections are: International Documentary Competition, Short Film Competition and Italian Documentary Competition.

The final submission deadline is march 15th, 2010.
