MARTIN ATKIN
Head of communications for WWF International since 2008, Atkin worked for over 20 years as director, producer, and editor for British TV networks, in addition to reporting for radio and the printed media. He was creative director for Greenpeace International for 7 years, during which he handled audiovisual, photographic and print production. He has produced and directed reportage and documentaries for NGOs around the world and was awarded for The Boat and the Bomb for Greenpeace International.
AGOSTINO FERRENTE


Agostino Ferrente(b. Cerignola [FG], 1971) studied at the "Ipotesi Cinema" and DAMS, Bologna. He has won numerous international awards for his short films Poco più della metà di zero (1993), Opinioni di un pirla (1999) and documentaries Intervista a mia madre (1999), Il film di Mario (1999-2001), co-directed with Giovanni Piperno, and L'orchestra di Piazza Vittorio (2006). In 2001 he founded the Apollo 11 group, a center for cultural production based in Rome, and was vice president of Doc/it, the Association of Italian Documentarists, and founder of the Premio Solinas Documentario.
MILENA GABANELLI
Milena Gabanelli began her career in journalism as free lance reporter before joining RAI in 1982 where she covered news events, then conducted in-depth news analyses for the program "Special Mixer", also as war correspondent. Using a video camera without a crew, she introduced video journalism to Italian TV audiences in 1991. She has taught this method in journalism schools. Taking up Giovanni Minoli's proposition to develop an innovative approach to TV journalism, she collaborated on the milestone program "Professione Reporter". Winner of over 20 international awards, she currently conducts "Report", on RAI's third channel.
HULYA UCANSU
Born in Bandirma, Ucansu graduated from the American College, Istanbul in 1971 before going on to study English language and literature. Until 2006 she was director of the International Istanbul Film Festival, and since 1996 has directed the Turkish film retrospective at the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris. She currently teaches at the University of Kadir Has and is board member of the Film Center of Bogazici University. She has been jury member at other festivals, including the Venice Film Festival, the Montreal Film Festival and the Rotterdam Film Festival.
CARLO VULPIO
Carlo Vulpio (b. Altamura [BA], 1960) earned a degree in law from the University of Bari. After writing for L'Espresso, Avvenimenti, l'Unità, he was correspondent for Corriere della Sera from 1990 to 2008, reporting on major news events and investigations in Italy and abroad. Two recent book titles are Roba Nostra (2009), winner of the Rosario Livatino award, and La città delle nuvole (2009). He teaches on the specialist course in public, social and political communications at the University of Bologna. His blog is www.carlovulpio.it.
