An annual award has been established by the festival in recognition of a writer who has dedicated a life to learning and writing about the environment and nature. The 2016 "Le Ghiande di CinemAmbiente" award will be presented to Wu Ming 2.
Non-competitive categories
Included in this category are films, short animations, documentaries, video clips, and television productions that use an innovative language to address environmental issues. Every year, Panorama presents a wide variety of cultural projects, initiatives and events with a themed focus related to the environment.
This project is addressed to schoolchildren (K-12). Film screenings are guided by educators and invited experts.
This honor section features films by renowned environmental filmmakers.
