The 16th CinemAmbiente Film Festival was extraordinarily rich in contents: 60 international guests, 80 films, a great deal of attention from the national media. Despite the crisis for cultural events, who have questioned the existence of the Festival itself, CinemAmbiente was once again a great success.
Huge crowds attended the screenings; free initiatives, including Ecotalk,  Ecokids  and the free lunch for 1800 people organized for the  worldwide campaign against food waste  were  successful above all expectations, confirming the growing interest in the environmental issues.
'We believe that the prestige of CinemAmbiente is growing for several reasons:  production and distribution Companies choose it as a "springboard". Environmental associations and citizens consider the Festival  as a confrontation area with a tolerant attitude and the ability of listen and share different ideas. The visit of the Minister of the Environment Andrea Orlando represented a great support to us in a particularly difficult time" says Gaetano Capizzi, director of CinemAmbiente.
