Special Prize 'The house of tomorrow' offered by Leroy Merlin € 5.000,00
The Special Prize "The house of tomorrow" is promoted by Leroy Merlin and Cinemambiente. This Special Selection will focus on films that deal constructively with issues of contemporary life and suggest best practices for tomorrow's society.
The prize of 5000 euros will be awarded to the Film Production or the Copyright Owner of the winning film. In receiving the Award, the Production Company or Copyright Owner will give to CinemAmbiente the authorization to have the film available for free streaming on the Festival Website www.cinemambiente.it The streaming will be restricted to the italian territory only for a period of 30 days maximum.
Special Prize “Eating City” offered by Risteco € 5.000,00
The Eating City award is promoted by the consortium Risteco and the CinemAmbiente and aims to reward the film that best addresses the issues of nutrition, loss of land, energy consumption and overall sustainability of city life.
Risteco was born as the environmental department of the italian SME Sotral S.p.A., a company specialized in food transport and logistic services for public catering. Risteco has then become a no-profit consortium in 2005, which gathers actors working in support services to catering industry. Risteco pursues its goals by creating a meeting platform with other professional sectors such as scientific communities, institutions, associations etc. to promote sustainable development within food services according to Life Cycle Thinking approach.
The prize of 5000 euros will be awarded to the Production Company or the Copyright Owner of the winning film. In receiving the Award the Production Company or Copyright Owner will give to CinemAmbiente the authorization to have the film available for screenings held exclusively within institutional conferences organized by Eating City, the streaming of the film trailer on the Eating City’s Website site and the possibility to insert 5 minutes of the film within an Eating City’s institutional video.
This international film section features meet-the-experts talks with films that use innovative language to explore environmental issues.
Involving students from all school levels with a diverse program of films and guest speakers. Screenings are guided by educators and environmental experts. Realizaed with the support of Ministero dell'Ambiente
